Winter - Part 3

Happy New Year!!!! 

 (feels a little weird to say it in Feb!) 

We had a relaxing low key New Years Eve. 

Levi played with all of his toys!!!! 

Since learning to walk, playing with his toys are so much fun!  

It was the first time, he took every toy out of the cabinet! 

Mid-January we took a family vacation to Waco!  We heard they had a really great zoo & we heard right!  It was a great zoo!! Levi had a blast!!  He especially loved the fish.  Surprising since most of the fish were bigger than Levi! 

Then Brian and I each picked something we always wanted to do, but never had the time to do.  Brian chose to go to the Dr. Pepper Museum.  Jessica chose to go to the Collins Street Bakery where the billboard says they have world famous chicken salad sandwiches.  It was a great family weekend! 

Before we knew it Super bowl was around the corner.

Levi watched most of the 1st half.  He fell asleep during Beyonce's half time show :)

February has been a BIG month for Levi's development. 

We had a good-bye party for the pacifier and bottle. (sippy cups only!)

He finally is starting to eat more solid foods.  So far peas and blueberries are a hit!  Plus any cracker or bread!

Winter - Part 2

Grandpa got Married!!! December 1st, Grandpa married Grandma Camille.  Levi has always had a special relationship with Grandma Camille and we are happy she is a part of our family. 

The next day, we took Levi to the local petting zoo!  He LOVED it!  We are amazed that a 1 year could understand the concept of feeding goats!  

CHRISTMAS!! 

What can we say about Christmas??? It's by far Momma's favorite time of year.  The cold weather, hot chocolate, beautiful family christmas cards arrive each day, celebrating the birth of our lord and savior!  What could be better? Nothing.

Thanks to Pintrest, Momma made a felt Christmas Tree for Levi to play with.  

It was constant fun! 

 Before we knew it, it was Christmas morning!! 

We spent the night at Grandpa and Grammys! 

Then the most magical thing happened!!! Levi decided he could start walking!!! Levi had been taking 1 or 2 steps for weeks, but Christmas morning, he started cruising!

Winter - Part 1

What happened to the blog during Winter? 

The previous post is us at the pumpkin patch..eeeekk!!! What happened?  A lot actually!   

After the pumpkin patch, we had Halloween, Brian and Jess celebrated 5 years of marriage, Levi was Baptized, we celebrated his 1st birthday, Thanksgiving, Levi had his first hair cut, Grandpa got married, we visited the petting zoo, Christmas, Levi started walking, cousin Andrea's birthday, New Years, Zoo, Super bowl, and today is Valentines day!  Life has been busy!!!! 

To catch up, we are going to do 3 power blogs!  Three big blogs to catch up on life!!!

I guess you could ask, why even catch up.  For us, this blog is way to document our life.

November 4th Brian and Jessica celebrated 5 years married, 12 years together. 

We had the great opportunity to have lunch at the Grand Traditions.  It is the same place we were married.  It was a really special day to take Levi back to where we were married.  I hope we are able to go back every few years. 

  

 

We baptized Levi on Saturday November 10th on the beach.  

It was a beautiful personalized ceremony.  

He was surrounded by so much LOVE! 

We chose our dear friends Kim and Charles to be Levi's Godparents.  

  

November 8th our little Levi turned 1!! 

Oh how fast the year has passed.  

We had a fun Dr. Seuss party.  Levi Loved having so many people around him.  

He squealed with laughter the whole time! 

We came home from California and right around the corner was Thanksgiving! 

Grandpa, Grammy, Scott, Ashley, & Andrea came over.  We had a yummy dinner and then a fun trip to the park! 

Mom & Dad (more mom!) decided Levi needed a hair cut before Grandpa's wedding.
