End of Summer

This last 8 weeks we have been from coast to coast! 

Sadly we went to California for the weekend to say goodbye to my Grandfather. 

I know he is dancing in heaven with my Momma.  

My Grandpa had the ability to make you feel like the most important person in the world when you were in a room full of people.  He always made me feel so loved. 

As sad as the weekend was, it was really nice to see all of my family.

This weekend, I saw 2 new pictures of my mom as a little girl.  I love them! 

We tried to squeeze in a few more things this short weekend. 

We played with Grandma! 

We saw the Endeavour! 

We saw the dinosaurs!

Next we went to Florida for the week.  

From the East was the beach and to the West was the marsh and overflowing trees. 

It was pure paradise! The scenery was breath taking! 

For 5 days we did the same thing.  

Breakfast, Pool, Lunch, Nap, Beach, Dinner, Bed time.  It was amazing!!!! 

And the best part was that we got to spend the week with our family! 

It was an amazing vacation!! 

We learned a few things while traveling. 

1. JetBlue really is the best airline!  Best customer service, free TV, 1st bag free, & snacks!! 

2. Dallas airport has a play scape that is awesome!!! It was so great to let Levi run & play! 

3. Levi is at the size now where it is really hard to have him share a seat :) 

All summer we have been harvesting vegetables.  

Levi LOVES to dig in the dirt.  He is such a boy! 

Happy End of Summer!  

Can't wait for the weather to feel like fall!!! 

Learning!

Levi is at the age where he is learning to count numbers, his colors and say the alphabet. 

We LOVE this age!  He is singing to himself all day long! 

Levi makes us so happy! 

Here are a few videos.  We practice learning in the bath.  It's the only time Levi sits still ;)

Levi has become really good at knowing his colors! 

Levi tries to count!  Sometimes he remembers 1-3, he always skips 4, but he knows 6-10 every time! 

Levi is trying to learn the ABC song.  He knows A-G and sings it at least 4-5 times an hour. 

He is learning the rest of the song and what letter's come after each other.  

I nicknamed Levi Bath-time Bobble.  

He laughs in the bath so hard that he looks like a bobble head doll.  It makes our heart smile! 

California June 2013

We just returned home from a wonderful trip to California!!! It was so great to see our family again.  This trip we celebrated great grandpa's birthday, a business review for Jess, and a wedding! 

This trip was extra special because I had 2 Shanghai friends visiting California at the same time.  Stam took pictures of everything we did.  She was our family photographer!  She then transformed all of the pictures into works of art.  As you will see, 99% of the pictures are of Levi.  The girls were obsessed with him!!!!
