Winter - Part 1

What happened to the blog during Winter?
The previous post is us at the pumpkin patch..eeeekk!!! What happened?  A lot actually!

After the pumpkin patch, we had Halloween, Brian and Jess celebrated 5 years of marriage, Levi was Baptized, we celebrated his 1st birthday, Thanksgiving, Levi had his first hair cut, Grandpa got married, we visited the petting zoo, Christmas, Levi started walking, cousin Andrea's birthday, New Years, Zoo, Super bowl, and today is Valentines day!  Life has been busy!!!!

To catch up, we are going to do 3 power blogs!  Three big blogs to catch up on life!!!
I guess you could ask, why even catch up.  For us, this blog is way to document our life.
An online photo album.  :)

November 4th Brian and Jessica celebrated 5 years married, 12 years together.
We had the great opportunity to have lunch at the Grand Traditions.  It is the same place we were married.  It was a really special day to take Levi back to where we were married.  I hope we are able to go back every few years.

We baptized Levi on Saturday November 10th on the beach.
It was a beautiful personalized ceremony.
He was surrounded by so much LOVE!

We chose our dear friends Kim and Charles to be Levi's Godparents.

November 8th our little Levi turned 1!!
Oh how fast the year has passed.
We had a fun Dr. Seuss party.  Levi Loved having so many people around him.
He squealed with laughter the whole time!

We came home from California and right around the corner was Thanksgiving!
Grandpa, Grammy, Scott, Ashley, & Andrea came over.  We had a yummy dinner and then a fun trip to the park!

Mom & Dad (more mom!) decided Levi needed a hair cut before Grandpa's wedding.
Before and After shots (He screamed the whole time!)

Check in tomorrow for Winter Part 2 :)

Pumpkin Patch! Happy Halloween!!!

Here are some pictures of us at the pumpkin patch in Elgin
and buying a pumpkin with Grammy & Grandpa.

Levi Loves the color Orange.
Levi loves to hit everything and turn ordinary items into drums.
We all imagined the pumpkin patch would be an exciting time.
Apparently giant orange hard fruits are not pleasant!
Even though we were able to capture memorable sweet pictures,
we also captured a few melt downs!!!

Here are our out takes ;)

Rough Week

We have had a rough week here at the Cunningham house!

In the middle of the night last Wednesday, Grandpa Doug went to heaven
to meet my mom and see his family!

Grandpa Doug was a sweet man with lots of stories.  Yoga was very important to Grandpa.  He did it everyday.  He even taught yoga to a few friends last year at his assisted living home.  Grandpa always wanted to be independent and lead a full life.  He will be greatly missed!

Sunday Brian participated in the LiveStrong Challenge here in Austin.
A beautiful tribute to all survivors and those we have lost.  It is a weekend of success stories and to remember how short life is.  Brian and I are proud that we are cancer survivors!

Car2Go donated a car to the challenge.
They allowed personal inspirations to be written all over it.
Here are a few pictures dedicated to Grandpa Doug!

Wednesday night Levi got his first stomach bug!
& Momma got it Thursday morning!

I think it's one of the worst bugs I have ever had.
My heart broke for Levi who had no idea what was going on.
We snuggled, watched TV, napped, and slowly started eating/drinking.

Sunday Daddy did the LiveStrong Challenge.
He came home, got sick, and could not keep fluid in him.
We spent Sunday night at Round Rock ER hydrating him!

Finally everyone is well.
Tomorrow we all will be going back to work & school!
We look forward to healthier happier weeks ahead!

11 Months Old!

For Levi's 11 Month Birthday, we took him to the park for the first time!
He had a BLAST!!! I think it is a sign we will be going to the park a lot more in the future!

Levi loves people.  Seeing all the other kids could entertain him for hours.  Plus the park was filled with bright colors and lots of new things to touch!

Brian and I were typical first time parents and took hundreds of pictures of our little boy at the park.  Sometimes its the simplest things that make a kid and his parents so happy!

Levi is starting to look less like a baby and more like a little boy!

Levi did not want to leave!!
& we can not wait to go back!

P.S. We were going to update the blog design for Levi's 1st birthday,
but we loved this design so much, it came a month early ;)
